The 8.1 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS4 Digital Camera packages a 4x optical zoom lens and 2.5-inch LCD screen into its slim, compact body. I bought this one as a birthday gift to my gf. i was in a hurry deciding which to buy that time when i was in the camera center. my 3 choices, sony, canon and the panasonic. my budget was limited. i tested all the three brands and the lumix really caught my interest not because of its apperance(body), well compare to the other two which is more stylish, but it's quality and performance. the FS4 may not be the best on point & shoot category but i can say that this one is a bang for a buck.(that's for me lah!, with a limited budget) it's worthit men. the colors, sharpness and the Intelligent LCD function detects the light condition and automatically boosts the LCD backlighting when shooting outdoors in bright sunshine, and adjusts the frame rate when shooting in low-ligth situations. face detection, motion picture, scene mode selections. the body built is ok and looks durable, don't worry I'll try to test it one day by dropping the camera from 7th floor to the ground see if its still works after. control is easy, basic and understandable, well sorry for those who were born in ice age and don't know how digital camera works. weight is approx. 134g with Battery and SD Memory Card, lightweight and easy to throw to your friends when your mad at them. Use it as a weapon whenever you want men, it's your money anyways. i say for those people who has limited budget in buying a p&s camera, i totally recommend this one. bring anywhere, shoot everywhere, use it in your perverted moves when a mini skirted sexy white legs is visible on the escalator. I've tried shooting some sample shots in low light, see the results. panasonic lumix fs4 is 4/5 for my taste. cheers Doms ![]() test shot (product) of panasonic lumix fs4 in low light Edited by Doms23, Jul 5 2009, 01:35 PM.
